There’s a little bit of all kinds of terrain on this trail – from shingle beach, to farmland, bush and pine forest, oh, and not forgetting spectacular views.
Flat and sandy, Whites Bay is the only safe swimming spot (albeit a little cold!) along Marlborough’s wild Cloudy Bay coast, so make sure you bring your togs. There are some great walking tracks from the beach as well.
The views are guaranteed to take your breath away on this day-long walking track that wanders through native and pine forest from Penzance Bay across to Elaine Bay. You can also mountain bike on the track.
