A drive along Southern Scenic Route 15 gives you the chance to see some amazing sights – take some awesome photos!

You will see the steep jagged headland of Nugget Point – where at the tip stands one of New Zealand’s oldest lighthouses, home to many seabirds, yellow-eyed penguins and a colony of New Zealand fur seals.

Waterfalls, caves, fossilised subtropical forest stumps, heritage walks, scenic walks and that special photo opportunity at every turn!

Catlins South Island. The area is between Balclutha and Invercargill.
