Now enjoying its third decade as a privately owned winery, Crossroads was started with the goal of crafting some of the very best wines from the Hawke’s Bay.
Located in Fernhill, Hawke’s Bay, on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, our Crossroads winery and vineyards are ideally situated to take advantage the country’s highest sunshine hours and diverse terroir.
With five small vineyards located throughout the region, including the much renowned Gimblett Gravels, we have selected varietals that best showcase the full potential of the land.
Whilst the varietals that make up our flagship wine, Talisman, remain a closely guarded secret, the success of our full range of wines has been built around the culmination of low vigour sites, small yields, stringent selection, extended ageing and a passionate winemaking team.
Crossroads Winery Range
Our winery range is a true expression of our uniquely positioned vineyards. Our ability to source fruit from a selection of vineyards allows our winemakers to select parcels that best showcase premium Hawke’s Bay winemaking.
• Sauvignon Blanc
• Pinot Gris
The long held vision to create a truly iconic Hawke’s Bay red wine was realised with the first release of the Talisman some 20 years ago.
Whilst the grape varieties utilised within the Talisman remain a closely guarded secret, the culmination of low vigour sites, small yields, stringent selection, extended ageing, and an attentive winemaking & viticulturalist team, have resulted in a complex, flagship wine worthy of the Talisman.
